Gearing Up for the Fly-Low-In!

Believe it or not, the 2nd Annual Fly-Low-In is almost here!

Come fly low with us June 6-7, 2009 at the 114th RC Aero Squadron in Grapevine, Texas. Find info on the field here, and read the thread on RC Groups here.

We've already started packing the trailer with fantastic 3DHS raffle prizes, including a yellow 89" Slick ARF!!!

We'll also be debuting a brand new 3DHS plane!

You can get your t-shirt and gear here.

We want to thank the 114th Aero Squadron in advance for being our gracious hosts- these guys really know how to put on a great event.
See you there!

The Right Stick

The Right Stick is *the* premiere podcast for remote control enthusiasts! They discuss all things RC- they even featured 3D Hobby Shop a while back!

Their most recent podcast is a great interview with pilot and 3DHS aircraft designer Scott Stoops. And they are also doing a 3DHS giveaway contest- the prize is our 40" Edge 540 ARF! Click here for the RCGroups thread to post your entry.

Joe Nall

So we just get back from SEFF, and now we get to turn right around and head to the Joe Nall Fly-In! We'll be flying to the event, so we won't have any planes with us to sell. Instead, we're offering a special on our 50cc aircraft on the website, from now until May 17th.

This special applies to in stock 87" Extra SHPs and 89" Slicks.

This discount is about 1/2 of the actual shipping cost, so don't miss out!

And speaking of giant scale, we will be taking pre-orders on the 103" Extra SC and the 126" Slick at Nall. Hope to see you there!

SEFF 2009

As always, SEFF was a blast! But I think this year was the best yet- great friends, food and of course, flying!

MLT and Mrs. MLT cooked up a delicious supper for the 3DHS tent city on Friday night.

Scott, Andrew and Josh flew fantastic demos on Friday and Saturday. Andrew debuted the much anticipated 70" Slick- details to follow!

Except for a little rain on Saturday, the weather was perfect. We really enjoyed hanging out with and meeting so many 3DHS fans- what a great group of people! And thanks to everyone who makes SEFF possible- it's a great event, and a LOT of work goes into making it happen.

Can't wait for next year!
